Deployment Cases

Emergency burst mains causing poor pressure with further excavation delays

During a burst main event with poor pressure lasting 13 hours, Essex Water support team deployed 3 ToWBi-3600 and 3 MoWBiV2 units. These supported a total of 54 residential houses, ensuring supply continuity.

This deployment resulted in EWL benefiting from zero ITS, no twelve-hour penalty, and a positive impact on C-mex.

How does the water stored within MoWBi stay hygienic?

Stored in an insulated, hermetically sealed chamber, the water is isolated from the ingress of dirt and bacteria, whilst an air gap around the water reduces the impact of temperature variations. All these features contribute to the integrity of the water, evidenced by the results of over 900 independently tested water samples, which highlighted the water’s remarkable stability, remaining bacteria-free and drinkable for up to 5 days, even in extreme heat conditions outdoors.

How are MoWBi's moved around?

Designed around standard pallet fork dimensions MoWBi can be easily moved around a base location using a standard pallet truck. For deployment out in the field, a purpose designed “off road” pallet truck is used to make mounting pavement or travelling across rough terrain as easy as possible. For transportation out to site, any standard flatbed-based vehicle may be used.

What is the power source for MoWBi?

MoWBi™ requires no power to dispense its contents, and is filled at the base source using the Kinetic energy of the local water supply.
